Wilson to serve on Admissions Committee

The Mississippi Board of Bar Admissions has selected Cory Wilson to serve on its Character and Fitness Committee. As part of the Committee, Wilson will review applications for aspiring new lawyers to ensure their fitness to become new members of the Mississippi Bar. Wilson will also sit on hearing panels to determine any character questions for Bar applicants.

Wilson, who manages the Jackson Office of Heidelberg, Steinberger, Colmer & Burrow, is excited about the opportunity to take a more active role in this important Bar activity. “It is critical that Mississippi attorneys strive for the highest professional standards,” noted Wilson. “That starts before new lawyers are admitted to the Bar, and I am happy to help ensure that our newest lawyers are among our best, in terms of their character and fitness to practice.”
