Tristan R. Armer primarily concentrates his practice on representing employers in workers' compensation claims, longshore and harbor workers' claims, and other general liability claims. With a background in finance, he also spends a portion of his practice handling bankruptcy, commercial, financial, real property, security interest and lending issues. He is a past seminar instructor for the National Business Conference on the subject of Foreclosure, Bankruptcy Law and Title Considerations.

Mr. Armer is experienced in all areas of civil litigation in both state and federal courts, including numerous jury trials. He has significant experience representing creditors and debtors in core and adversarial proceedings in bankruptcy courts. His litigation experience also includes matters before the American Arbitration Association and other private arbitrators.

Prior to joining with Heidelberg, Steinberger, Colmer & Burrow, P.A., he was a managing partner of two different law firms. He has served upon the Board of Directors for BrakePro LTD/BHC LLC, a manufacturer of heavy duty friction products. He is a past-president of the Jackson County Bar Association, serving from 2007-2008. Mr. Armer was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers–Rising Stars Mid-South Edition for 2010 and 2011 in the workers compensation practice area.
