Karl Steinberger and Stacie Zorn had the pleasure of speaking today on the topic of “ Best Practices For Hiring and Terminating Your Employees, as part of the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce Summer Learning Series.  Topics included advertising job opportunities, preparation of applications, conducting interviews, implementation of performance evaluations, attendance policies and work rules, progressive discipline practices and options available when termination is appropriate. Representatives of businesses of all sizes had numerous questions on all issues.
