The Mississippi Senate this week confirmed Jimmy Heidelberg as the newest member of the Mississippi State Oil and Gas Board. Nominated by Lt. Governor Phil Bryant, Jimmy will serve a four year term. The Oil and Gas Board is charged "to foster, encourage and promote the development, production and utilization of the natural resources of oil and gas in the State of Mississippi" As a member of the five person Board, Jimmy will be responsible for authorizing and supervising the monitoring oil and gas production within Mississippi.
