Led by Jimmy Colmer, our attorneys obtained a defense verdict in Jones County, Mississippi, on behalf of their client, a waste disposal company.  The plaintiff alleged our client's garbage truck struck him, causing debilitating back injuries preventing his return to work.  The defense successfully demonstrated the plaintiff’s back condition existed prior to the accident, and no causal connection existed between the accident and the plaintiff’s back condition or his inability to return to work.  After three days of testimony, and even after our client admitted liability in causing the accident, the jury ruled in favor of our client.  The plaintiff did not appeal the verdict.
